Did you carbonate the beer with Beergas or did you use Co2 and use beergas just to dispense the beer?

Answer to SaintTaris: I carbonated with CO2 to approximately 2 volumes (5 lbs. at 40 degrees Fahrenheit). The beergas is held at 25 lbs. pressure in the keg. The 30 ft. of beerline will drop the pressure to about 5 lbs at the restrictor faucet.

It is Beergas - a blend of 70% nitrogen and 30% CO2 - but I get it at either Airgas or Praxair. These likely have stores around the country.

i usually just stick in a piece of siphon tubing into the rubber stopper and then run it into a big jug of water. that way you don't get clogs or spills.

Not enough head room in the fermenter and the foam is expanding into the airlock. That can cause a mess, especially if hops or other gunk gets clogged in there and pressure builds in the bucket.
